As a part of a strategic restructuring undertaken by FirstRand Group for its India operations, the investment banking / corporate finance advisory business operated by FirstRand Bank Limited, India branch will now be housed under a new wholly owned subsidiary of FirstRand Group, namely RMB Capital India Private Limited (“RMB”), with effect from 1 February 2023.

FirstRand has a presence across key global jurisdictions including South Africa, London, Nigeria, Kenya and India. In India, the Investment Banking team specialises in providing customised solutions to its clients for domestic and cross-border transactions. The team has delivered multiple successful transactions in India and in the Indo-Africa corridor for its corporate clients across multiple sectors.
